Introducing our latest creation straight from the Pilot System: The California Common! Crafted by Jordan Walls, this limited-edition brew promises to tantalize your taste buds.

The California Common, otherwise known as a “steam beer,” is a well-balanced dry lager that is prominently characterized by Northern Brewer hops and light toasted-caramel malt flavor.

Unique to this style, lager yeast is used to ferment the wort at ale fermentation temperatures to highlight ester notes from the yeast. Pale ale and Pilsen malt supply the base for this recipe to establish a malty-sweet backbone for Northern Brewer hops to showcase their woody-minty notes.

Jordan’s brew will be available exclusively on tap at the Bierhalle.
